New York, NY (September 16, 2011) — Trav previewed his new single, “Up and Down” at a sold-out concert in New York recently and is in the midst of a radio station tour just as his new music video hits the web. Filmed at historic Coney Island, the video is a fun and sexy take on the song which will be released, along with bonus music, to all major digital retailers including iTunes on October 4th, supported by a with a national radio campaign having an impact date of September impacting on September 19th. Trav personally delivered the track, featuring Sean Kingston on guest vocals, to radio stations this week on an extensive west coast promo tour that took him to a dozen markets
An electrifying new voice and star on the rise, Trav recorded, “Up and Down,” with a little help from longtime friend and collaborator Sean Kingston. The wildly infectious R&B flavored track reunites the charismatic singer with Kingston for the first time since sharing the stage during Justin Bieber’s tour last year and is dominated by sweet n’ spicy lyrics and a chorus that just won’t let go.
Heralded as “the next young talent out of New York” by mentor and former tourmate, 50 Cent, Trav’s boyish charm and lyrical skills have been winning over fans at a dizzying pace. In just the past two years Trav’s first solo mixtape, The Way I See It,” was downloaded over 500,000 times and his second, Follow Me, featured the single “Ride The Wave” that broke through to mainstream radio with airplay on over 100 urban stations nationwide (the song was later remixed featuring Juelz Santana and Lloyd Banks). He spent 2010 on the road, featured as a special guest on Sean Kingston’s tour opening for Bieber, and with 50 Cent on his “The Invitation Tour.” Trav has also appeared on Soulja Boy’s “Let My Swag Get At You” with Tory Lanez.
